It’s so interesting each day when a new customer walks into Crêpe Royale and asks us “What is that you’re making?” Our first response is always “Well it’s a crêpe a very thin like pancake.” Then they go on to ask “What is that you’re putting inside the crêpe?” We then start to explain all of the delicious amazing things that can be stuffed inside a crêpe, like our Big Breakfast Crêpe with egg, cheese, hashbrowns, bacon or ham for only $3.75, or our  Signature Jerk Chicken, or maybe our Smoked Salmon with cream cheese, red onions, and capers… or what about our Steak Fajita, But wait what about our popular dessert crêpe the Cheesecake Supreme layered with a whole slice of cheesecake, fresh strawberries and bananas then drizzled with warm Nutella chocolate or Dulce de Leche topped and powdered sugar and whip cream.

Grand Opening – Crêpe Royale

It’s our GRAND OPENING... Well technically Crêpe Royale has been opened for the past three months but it has been summer here in sunny Florida and UCF has only been filled with UCF Faculty, Summer Students, and Parents and incoming Freshman. We say our “Grand Opening” because the Fall Semester is upon us and it’s a whole different ball game.  Over 50,000 students have enrolled in Florida’s largest university and they will be on campus looking for a new, cool place to eat and we are soooooooooo excited to be one of their choices.

So many things have been put in place to make our doors welcoming and inviting for you to come and try Crêpe Royale.  Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, our made-to-order, fresh, nutritious and delicious French crêpes and our signature Italian gelatos will capture your hearts and stomachs… Crêpe Royale is sure to become one of your favorite on-campus eateries to fuel your body and cool off from the Florida heat.

Breaking Ground… Finally!!!

About dang on time… right!

Well it’s happening you guys… That’s right construction is finally happening as we speak on UCF Campus in the Student Union. We are so excited that our project is finally under swings.  Everyday we see further progress, although we know there is still so much needs to be done before our BIG opening day… it will be here before any of us realize it.

We just wanted to give you all a little glimpse into our world right now… make sure to stay tuned for more of the latest and greatest with Crêpe Royale!

Catering for Usain Bolt (Gatorade Commercial)

Have any of you heard of Usain Bolt? You know the fastest man in the world???

If any of you answered No then it’s time to get your heads out from under the rock your living.  Usain Bolt  is only the fastest man in the world.  Not to mention that he is Jamaican, Big Up my brothers and sisters.  But for real he is the 100m World record holder, winning it in 9.58 Seconds and the 200m in 19.19 Seconds.

I know its pretty amazing especially when you actually see him run on the field, breathtaking really.  We had the honor of being invited to cater for Usain while filming his New Gatorade Commercial in Orlando on UCF Campus.  Usain is launching a brand new Lemon Ice flavor which has been inspired by him: Gatorade Bolt.  This drink is available now in Sydney, Australia.

We knew that shooting was an all-day affair so we came out with big guns and created a specialty menu for him and his closest associates.  We knew that Usain was missing home, Jamaica, so we wanted to bring home to him…

The catering was a HUGE hit and all enjoyed all of the delicious food that was made.  Another Success for Crêpe Royale!

Hey There!!!!

Long time no speak…. Did you know that Crêpe Royale is under construction inside the UCF Student Union?!?  That’s right your favorite creperie will be mixing and serving with all the best inside the student union and not only that we have some special surprises up our sleeves.

Wanna know what they are???? Come closer…

We will also be serving out of this world tasty Gelatos, Soft-Serve Yogurt with all of the fixings imaginable, Gourmet Belgian Waffles and of course our Signature Sweet and Savory Crêpes!

Are you drooling yet?  If you are then GREAT that means your as excited as we are for this wonderful opportunity as well.

Can’t wait to see you guys for Grand Opening, which by the looks of things will be happening the beginning of January!

Crêpe Royale and all its Glory

Have you missed us?

We surely have missed you all!

I know it has been a while since our last post… so let me first apologize!

We are SOOOOOO SORRY!

Life has been really hectic here at Crêpe Royale… with the entering of the Amway Arena and a number of caterings and other events it has been hard to find our bearings… but I think we have finally found some!

If you haven’t had a chance to visit us at the Amway Arena then you need to stop reading… get dressed… and plan on making an appearance at one of the Orlando Magic’s Basketball Games!  Haven’t you heard we’re kicking serious bootie and I’m not just talking about the Magic!

Section 118 on the west side yours truly is stationed with our beautiful multi-functional cart!  Thats right and where else can you get a Fast, Fresh, Healthy Gourmet Crêpe made right before your eyes…. NOWHERE!

For those that are curious to see what we have been up to I hope the pictures and some of the video footage does us justice.

Crêpe Royale Is Hitting The NBA!

If the picture doesn’t say it all then here let me tell you… Crêpe Royale has Signed, Sealed, and Delivered and are so delighted to announce to be one of the very few vendors that will be gracing Orlando’s Amway Arena.

I know it’s pretty big and a huge deal and we are so excited to be able to share some of our delicious savory and sweet crêpes with all of you.  So if you happen to be wanting to root for yours truly Orlando Magic’s and attending any NBA games then you definitely need to come and check us out!

Starting February 17th, we will be at the Arena we will be at the West Concourse section 118!

It’s World Nutella Day!

Guess What today is guys….

It’s World Nutella Day!  That’s right a day fully dedicated to a sensational chocolatey hazelnut spread that is just unbelieveable and heavenly.  Life is good, REAL GOOD with Nutella!  This wonderful day was created by Sara from Ms. Adventures in Italy and Michelle from Bleeding Espresso.  Bloggers from all around the world post recipes made with Nutella and if you head on over to World Nutella Day and click on “Nutella Recipes“ you can see the round up of all the recipes.

Crêpe Royale Will Be At The Taste of Orlando

Have plans this weekend?  Looking for something to do as a family this weekend that your sure everyone will enjoy?

Should Chocolate Milk Be Kept In Schools?

This question is being raised all over our schools due to some schools and activist groups who feel that chocolate milk should be banned from school cafeterias.

I know you may be looking at the screen asking yourself “WHAT?!?” Ban chocolate milk…. not possible.

I know when I was a child before choosing anything I would go straight for the chococlate milk. To this day I still love chocolate milk and so do my children.

I recognize the important role milk plays in our children’s lives today and so does Raise Your Hand For Chocolate Milk. Raise Your Hand For Chocolate Milk is a new campaign from the National Dairy Council and Milk Processor Education Program that is focused on promoting the benefits of keeping chocolate milk in schools and prevent them being banned as schools have done with sugary sodas and candies.

• Milk Provides nutrients essential for good health and kids will choose it over regular milk, the majority of the time.
